Dr. Roland Machado

Dr Machado graduated from Kasturba Medical College, India, after which he first specialised in Emergency Medicine. After several years working as an Emergency Physician in Australia, Dr Machado became a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2012.

With over 12 years of experience as a General Practitioner, Dr Machado practices in several areas of General Practice, providing care to generations within families. He has a keen interest in performing procedures including skin cancer excisions, musculoskeletal medicine and men’s health. Dr Machado’s background in Emergency Medicine has also given him a broad range of extended skills which complement his practice, particularly in the area of cardiology, and his procedural skills.

Dr. Vandana Daya

Dr Vandana Daya is a South African graduate who has over twenty years of experience in General Practice. She attained her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners after moving to Australia nineteen years ago. Dr Daya loves all aspects of general practice but has a special interest in Women’s Health, Paediatrics, as well as Nutritional and Integrative Medicine.

Dr Daya is a member of the Australian Integrative Medicines Association (AIMA) and continues her academic goal of attaining her fellowship in Nutritional Medicine with the Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine.

Dr. Stella Tang

Dr Stella Tang graduated from the University of Newcastle (Bachelor of Medicine) in 2008, obtaining her Fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2013. She has trained in numerous hospitals in NSW, gaining experience in various areas of medicine. She has furthered her qualifications in paediatrics (Diploma of Child Health from the University of Sydney), antenatal shared care for obstetrics, implanon insertions and removals, as well as women’s health and family planning.

Dr Tang has a keen interest in mental health and Indigenous health, having worked in rural areas whilst training and travelling with the Royal Flying Doctors.

Dr. Paul Beecham

During his time as the principal doctor at Hannah Street Medical Practice, Dr Paul Beecham has over 30 years’ experience working in family medicine in the Beecroft community. Alongside his partner at Hannah Street Medical Practice, Dr Barbara Adams, he welcomes the opportunity to combine with the existing dynamic team at Beecroft General Practice.

After graduating from UNSW in 1975, Dr Beecham undertook three years of paediatric training before deciding that the broader field of general medicine was where his true passion lay. He has experience in the management of skin conditions, men’s health, implanon insertions and removals, and geriatrics.

Dr. Arvind Iyer
Specialist

Dr Iyer graduated from St. Petersburg State Medical University, obtaining the Presidential Red Degree for being the university gold medallist with academic excellence. He finished his post-graduate accreditation exams in the UK and has completed the Level 3 CTCA certification (Tutor & Report). He works as an Honorary faculty at the UCLA (USA) and also a clinical lecturer at Macquarie University.

Dr Iyer underwent his physician’s training at the Prince of Wales Hospital, Sydney, completing his Cardiology training in Canberra & Launceston General hospitals.

Dr. Shana Pathmatheva

Dr Shana Pathmatheva is a locally trained Doctor who completed her medical training at the University of Sydney. She subsequently obtained her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2004, alongside a Diploma in Child Health and a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology ( RANZCOG).

Dr Shana Pathmatheva is a Family Physician who enjoys all areas of General Practice and has a particular interest in Women’s Health, Paediatrics and Mental Health. She strives to provide the highest standard of care for all her patients and their families. She is bilingual and can converse in Cantonese.

Dr. Disha Nanayakkara

Dr Disha Nanayakkara received her medical degree with honours from Russia. She completed her General Practice training in Australia and obtained her Fellowship of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), along with a Diploma in Child Health and a National Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health.

Dr Disha has over thirteen years experience covering general practice, emergency care, radiology, medical and surgical fields. She has worked in both rural and busy metropolitant hospitals around NSW.

Her special interests are in Women’s Health, Paediatric and Chronic Disease Management.

Physiotherapist

Malavika graduated from the University of Sydney in 2005 gaining a wide range of experience from hospitals in Sydney and rural NSW. Malavika has experience in respiratory, orthopedic, women's health, musculoskeletal therapy, pediatric, and neurological physiotherapy.

She has particular interest in hydrotherapy, neck pain and musculoskeletal therapy where she worked alongside sport physicians to improve her skills. Malavika's in-depth knowledge of injury rehabilitation and manual therapy ensures optimal results for her patients.

Dr. Dharrini Balachandran
Doctor

Dr Dharrini Balachandran graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2013 and obtained her Fellowship from the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2019. Dharrini trained and worked in Port Macquarie and Kempsey as a rural GP and Skin Cancer doctor for 4 years before her move to Sydney. Dharrini enjoys all aspects of General Practice but has a keen interest in Skin Cancer Medicine, Paediatrics , Women’s Health and Medical Education. Dr Dharrini Balachandran is an Accredited Skin Cancer Doctor with the Skin Cancer College Australasia. This means that she has successfully completed a high level of training with the College and has proven skills in the diagnosis, treatment and management of skin cancer.

When not at work, Dharrini enjoys spending time with her family and friends, baking and training at the gym.

Dr David Siow graduated from the University of Western Sydney and is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP).

His training took him all around New South Wales in both rural and metropolitan areas. He has an interest in all areas of general practice from paediatrics to aged care, chronic diseases to acute illness and both physical and mental health. However he obtains the most enjoyment from the relationships he forms with the community and various families through his work.

Dr. Shu Ching Yang

Dr Shu Ching Yang, graduated from the University of New South Wales in 2001 and spent several years training in Paediatrics at Children’s Hospital at Westmead and its affiliated hospitals prior to joining general practice.

Dr Yang loves the breadth of general practice, and has a special interest in Preventative Health, Women’s Health and Paediatrics. She loves connecting and helping people and greatly values the privilege of walking the journey with her patients. Dr Yang is also passionate about medical education and continuing professional development and is an examiner for the Royal College of General Practitioners. She has also worked as a medical educator and clinical teaching visitor in General Practice training.

In her spare time, Su loves spending time with her family, listening to music, bushwalking, and traveling.

Consultant Paediatrician

Dr Madhu Gangadhara is an experienced Consultant Paediatrician based in Sydney.

He works part- time as a Staff Specialist Paediatrician at Gosford Hospital, Central Coast LHD and is affiliated with the University of Newcastle. Madhu sees children from birth till adolescence with the best interests of the child and family at the forefront of his clinical care.

Madhu trained in both General Paediatrics and Paediatric Cardiology from Oxford and Southampton in the United Kingdom where he is dual specialist. Madhu has also trained in the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network and peripheral hospitals. Prior to his relocation to Australia he worked in the NHS, UK for 16 years. He has trained in Paediatrics at the reputed Oxford University Hospital and allied hospitals. He completed comprehensive training in all aspects of general and community paediatrics, critical care, neonatology, Paediatric ED, Paediatric cardiology and psychosocial paediatrics.

Madhu has more than 23 years of post-graduate Paediatric experience in diligently caring for children with a range of common and complex clinical conditions. Madhu is passionate about offering safe, evidence-based and child-centred care. He is a strong advocate for good patient experiences through early diagnosis and interventions for improving outcomes in infants and children.

Madhu has the expertise to perform various aspects of developmental assessments including evaluation of Autism, global developmental delay, speech delay, ADHD and other childhood behavioural conditions. Madhu’s expertise includes caring for premature infants, their ongoing developmental assessments until school age. Madhu prefers to see children early for developmental and behavioural assessments and autism to make a positive impact on their learning. He is able to follow them up for the rest of school age.

Madhu is a keen researcher and regularly collaborates nationally and internationally. He has many publications in peer reviewed journals. Madhu is passionate about Medical education and is a Conjoint Lecturer at the University of Newcastle. He is also an accredited RACP Clinical Supervisor for Paediatric trainees.

Madhu lives locally with his wife, two daughters and the much loved furry pet dog.
